MobMuPlat (short for Mobile Music Platform) allows users to develop tailored audio software for iOS using the open-source audio environment PureData.
Within MobMuPlat is a collection of user-generated files, each defining a unique user interface and audio engine. Its capabilities encompass synthesis, sampling, local wifi networking, OSC messaging, hardware characteristic adjustments, image/graphic display, and more. The process of crafting your own application involves two main stages conducted on your laptop/desktop. Initially, you design the audio engine using the visual programming language Pure Data (PD). Subsequently, either utilize the native PureData graphical user interface (GUI) or fashion a GUI using the MobMuPlat Editor.
By having both PureData and the MobMuPlat Editor active and facilitating data transfer between them, you can replicate the app's functionality on your laptop/desktop. Upon completion of development, simply drag the two saved files into the "Documents" folder within iTunes. This action enables them to be uploaded to your device and accessed via the MobMuPlat app.
